This week:  Jay, Jon, and Nicholas discuss what is quite possibly the most amazing film ever, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World. Mostly discussed are the the film, the comic, the soundtrack, and video games.

We have a small skirmish over Nintendo vs. Genesis (Nintendo wins), get disappointed over the film’s weekend earnings, argue the viability of sponsored tweets.

Jay says:

So now I plan to get all six volumes of the comic. Whether I should wait until December or buy it at buy.com (I love that place!) is my current dilemma. All I know is that I had a blast watching the movie, I have a blast playing the game, and I had a blast listening to the track Nicholas sent me for the show. That means I should have a blast reading the comic.

I came up with a rather odd-looking setup with cables flying everywhere from the computer and mixer, and got two use my two new microphones. I had the instrument mic, so all you good listeners can hear how thin my sound is. It’s awesome. Jon used his Yeti when he called us on Skype, and everything was awesome and amazing. Plus, Scott Pilgrim.

Update: Quick thanks to Melissa for lending me all six volumes (I promise to begin reading them soon and you should have them back before November). This helps solve my dilemma — looks like I can get the six volumes at around Christmas.
