hey i just wanted to say happy season 6! and i don’t think i’ve seen too many of the movies you were discussing, but i really liked “the village”. not too many others do but i’d buy it. if i remember it correctly, parents were trying to protect their kids from the big dangerous world. they wanted them to have a simpler life and the monster they made up kept everybody closer to home. i like those kind of twilight zone type stories where at the end you stand back and think “whoa good idea” or “i never saw it from that point of view before” not really scary, maybe thought provoking?
