Last night I got to listen to RTRFM 92.1 on the Internet. You see, RTRFM doesn’t exist outside of Australia except on the Wonderful World of the Web. Technology brings everyone together!
Simon Miraudo is the online content coordinator for Quickflix, an Australian version of NetFlix where you can rent DVDs online. And last night he appeared on the breakfast show with Eddie Ludemann (Australia, in case you didn’t know, is about 12 hours ahead of us in the US) to talk about The Human Centipede and Food, Inc. If you missed it then here’s a rebroadcast of it, NOT LICENSED OR ANYTHING! So get it before it’s banned forever!!!
I haven’t yet seen Food, Inc. but it sounds intriguing, so I must. Unfortunately, I couldn’t not watch the Human Centipede, and it scarred me for life. Also, just a warning to you: if you like your computer, don’t listen to this whilst eating.
Simon Miraudo co-hosts Trending Cinema with sometimes-A12M guest Jon Tilton. On their podcast, two strangers from opposite ends of the earth (US, Australia) meet to discuss all aspects of film, as well as review some of the hottest movies out today.
