Google Voice. What is it? Watch the video and see for yourself! More after the cut.

Google Voice is more than GrandCentral, acquired by Google about two years ago, used to be. It does more than collect your work, home, mobile phone numbers into one—so you don’t have to give out three numbers, just one. It collects your voicemail, lets you send and receive SMS texts, and saves your voicemails right in your GMail Inbox! Or, at least, that’s what they say.

I was invited to try out Google Voice today and immediately signed up. If you want to help me beta test it, give me a call at 267-702-5298 (jayv). It’s easy to remember and I bet it’ll be fun. If you call me, I may answer the call, or I may let it go straight to voicemail. I will be playing whatever voicemails are left to me for the next episode, unless you ask me not to play your voice on the show, so say whatever you want if I don’t answer, and be fun!
